I've entered a contest here in Regina. It's pretty simple. If you want to hear me play on August 21 in Wascana Park for free (!) you just have to listen to Sweet Tart here. That's it. Public votes are cast by the number of plays.
In other news, I'm home again from Edmonton. I'm sorry to leave. In the original plans I was set to stay there for another week, but with a change of plans involving a car rental, I came home a bit early.
I have been listening to the rough mixes that Doug of Edmontone sent me home with. There's still lots of work to do, but the groundwork has been laid. It's pretty exciting to have a second album on the go.
I still haven't found that camera cable (or secret cord as my friend Dave adeptly pointed out), but when I do I'll share a few of my memories from recording.
