if I had a cable there would be a picture.
Hi everyone.
I forgot my camera cable at home, and getting pictures from my camera to the computer is a nuisance without it. So no photos. I'll post a few when I find the cable.
Anyway, things at the Edmontone are going swimmingly. Seven songs in the can in two days. These guys are total pro. Can't wait to share the efforts with you. And that will happen in - wait for it - January. It's pretty exciting.
Being back in Edmonton is great. Get to see old friends. Troll around the haunts. Check out the new scene. Meet my buddies' kids. (We's all growed up).
All of the players on the recording thus far are from my college days. It's significant. I sure wouldn't have written this if I didn't go to Grant MacEwan. (Think, don't sing, A.)
Tomorrow I have another day with the band: Fred Brenton, Peter Belec, Dan Churchill and, of course, Jeremy Sauer. The recording has been painless. Getting started was a comedy of tiny errors, but all's well. More importantly, my pinball high score is (respectably) over 4000. I'll look at the chalk board for the exact figure and share it tomorrow.
Recording at Edmontone is fun.
