Well, May is going to be a great month. 

I'm launching my first EP Hello from Belle Plaine (eep!), I'm headed out on tour with Dave Lang, The Creative City Centre is officially opening, and my buddies The Lazy MKs are putting out their sophomore album.

First of all, I have to admit that these boys shame me in their level of planning.  You're a fool to miss their show.  There's a whack of guest artists, free food by The Fainting Goat and a campfire sing-along.

And if this meager detail informs your decision to attend, I will be singing too.  I had the privilege of joining them in the studio last fall for the recording of Where We Bin

Actually, come to think of it, I don't just sing.  Anna Rose and I do this crazy rhythmic breathing thing that took a really long time to figure out.  I thought we were both going to pass out the first time we tried it.  It was a bit of a concern considering Anna was about eight months pregnant.

No one was really worried about me.

Anyway, it's going to be great.  Don't be a fool!  Go get tickets!
