demos
Way back in June I drove my team of horses to SoulSound and undertook a recording project with The Lazy MKs.
It was stinking hot. One of those June days that always turn into thunder storms by mid-afternoon. Unbeknownst to me, the boys have a rule: if the recording isn't going right, they take off their pants.
Orion's (fortunate) rule is that singers stay in the control booth for bed tracks.
I'm not exactly sure if the boys had their pants on or not, but I'm pleased with the recording and I'm quite happy to not know what got it there.
The project was a wee little demo funded by the kind people at FACTOR. I'm proud of the results and wanted to share a track with you. (Thanks bandcamp!)
The big idea is to shop this around for the bucks to make a bigger better recording.
In the mean time, let's thank The Lazy MKs, Cameron Wensel (aka Black Drink Crier) and the lovely Anna Rose for being willing accomplices on the recording, as well as our stalwart recording engineer, Mr. Orion Paradis of SoulSound Studios.
Without further adieu, Advice From A Vicar, by Belle Plaine!
