24/7

I'm at the 24/7 truck stop on the junction of Highway 16 and 6... also known as the gateway to New Roots.

New Roots is the nickname of a farm where a few of my musician friends live, and where I'm fortunate enough to hang out and rehearse.

But the truck stop!  The 24/7 has all the best things in life: bacon, pie, coffee and free internet.  It's also a great place to catch up on the latest CMT videos, if that's your thing.

I find myself here more often than I expect. Right now I'm patiently awaiting a ride from the truck stop to the farm, where I will spend the night rehearsing with my dear friends for tomorrow's show (and the show the day after, if you didn't happen to read my last post).

It's the perfect start to my day off on tour.
