Did you go the Artesian on Sunday night? Cause if you did, you know that Jayden Pfeifer totally rocked the inaugural performance of Red Hot Riot.
Congrats to all that made the show run smoothly (with only two hours to prep before the doors opened!) and thanks to Jeremy Sauer and Chris Prpich for coming along and playing with me. It was an absolute pleasure.
Whether you made it out to the show or not, you can witness Jayden in action next month on the 17th of April when he'll do it all again.
And today is one of my favourite days of the year: Regina Folk Festival announced it's lineup. It's hot too! k.d. lang? Andrew Bird? Dan Mangan? C'mon! The full lineup is at the RFF website, and it's smoking. Way to go, Butel.
As for me, my fella and I joined the landed class (as my attorney says) and are moving into our own digs. That means April is a slow music month, but it's stacked with a long to-do list... both music and home. But May is just as busy! I'm out on tour with the charming Mr. Dave Lang, so check the show listings and tell your friends!
